Adam and Tyler began working together in the Summer of 2012 as part of a clinical team at an adventure-based, immersion weight-loss program in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, NC. A friendship between the two quickly emerged; a friendship strengthened by a common passion to help individuals develop a growth mindset to improve their performance (whether that be in sport, exercise, or health) and make important lifestyle changes.
Adam and Tyler believe in the power of their work, and have dedicated themselves to learning about and providing the most up-to-date and scientifically-founded information to individuals to help them reach their personal goals. After their time working together ended, Adam and Tyler wanted to continue to work together to find ways to help people improve their lives and, “In Focus” was born.
The plan for this blog is to inundate our readers with empirically-based information on sport, exercise, and health psychology research, tips, and techniques. The information is real. The techniques work. And, we will attempt to present it in a way that is easy to read, understand, and then ultimately use to increase your quality of life.
