Adam Skoranski is a mental skills coach holding a provisional certification with the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, as well as a masters in counseling. Adam was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He attended college at the University of Virginia’s College at Wise where he was a catcher on the baseball team all four years.
Adam worked as a counselor at North Central College in Naperville, IL where he provided Sport Psychology and mental health counseling services to the college-aged population. He administered mental skills training to groups and individual athletes with the goal of enhancing athletic performance. He has researched, comprised, and gave presentations to groups focused on both Sport Psychology dynamics and issues related to mental health. Additionally, Adam has assisted in the planning and implementation of 2 week-long programs aimed at raising awareness of suicide and alcohol abuse, respectively, and has engaged in and completed suicide assessment training.
Currently, Adam is a Master Resilience Trainer-Performance Expert at Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX, where he implements his sport and performance training background to work with military personnel.
